A Crown Has Fallen To You
Rule a medieval kingdom through four turning seasons. Tax the realm, judge the court, marry off your heirs, and read the consequences of every decree you sign.
How ThroneKeeper Is Played
Every season asks a different kind of question. Answer wisely, and the dynasty outlives you.
Rule from the Throne
Issue royal decrees on taxation, law, levies, public works and mercy. Resolve blights, revolts, plagues and court plots, then hear petitioners and give verdicts that shift the balance of power.
Build the Realm
Explore a procedurally drawn kingdom, raise castles, markets, temples, granaries and barracks. Open trade routes, invest in provinces, and unlock roads, walls and irrigation.
Hold the Court
Keep the dynasty tree alive with a recognised heir. Arrange marriages, manage diplomacy on a living relations board, appoint advisors, and uncover the plots forming against you.
Study the Codex
Twelve lessons across three levels teach the history behind the mechanics. Read articles on governance and economy, keep a daily fact streak, and browse over two hundred glossary terms.
Set The Royal Tax Rate
Every levy cuts two ways. Drag the slider and watch your treasury swell as your smallfolk's patience wears thin.
Royal Decree on Taxation
"By how much shall the crown's collectors be sent forth this autumn?"
A fair levy. The realm murmurs but pays.
About Us
👑 We are a small studio of strategy-game builders and history enthusiasts who wanted a management sim where the crown feels heavy. ThroneKeeper began as a question we kept asking each other: what if every tax, verdict and marriage actually left a mark on the realm you could read back later?
🏰 Our mission is to make kingdom management feel like genuine rulership, not a spreadsheet. Four seasons of spring sowing, summer growth, autumn harvest and winter scarcity give every decision a rhythm, so taxation, construction and diplomacy all compete for the same finite year.
⚔️ Playing ThroneKeeper gives you a living kingdom map to build on, a dynasty to protect across generations, a court full of nobles, clergy and commons to balance, and a Codex of twelve lessons and a glossary of medieval terms so the history behind the mechanics is never a mystery.
📜 The crown is yours. The consequences are yours too.
Privacy Policy
ThroneKeeper is built to be played, not surveilled. In short: the game collects no personal data at all. Your reign, your dynasty and your Codex progress live only on your own device. This charter explains exactly what that means.
-
Information We Collect —
None. ThroneKeeper does not ask for your name, email, location, contacts, photos or any other personal identifier, and there is no sign-up or login screen anywhere in the app.
-
How We Use Information —
Since nothing is collected, nothing is analysed, profiled, shared or sold. There is no behavioural tracking of how you tax, build or rule your kingdom.
-
Data Storage —
Your reign saves, dynasty tree, decision logs and Codex/glossary progress are written entirely to local storage on your own device. There is no account system and no cloud sync, so we never receive a copy of your kingdom.
-
Third-Party Services —
ThroneKeeper contains no third-party analytics software development kits, no advertising networks and no external trackers of any kind. No data ever leaves your device to reach us or anyone else.
-
Data Security —
Because your kingdom's data never travels across a network, it is not exposed to the risks of transmission or remote storage. It is protected by the same safeguards you already use to secure your own device.
-
Children's Privacy —
ThroneKeeper does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, which makes it compatible with protections such as COPPA by design. There is nothing to knowingly or unknowingly gather from a young ruler.
-
Your Control —
You hold full authority over your data. Since everything lives locally, uninstalling ThroneKeeper permanently removes your saves, dynasty history and Codex progress. There is no account to close and no server copy to request deletion of.
-
Changes to This Policy —
Should our practices ever change, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Continued play after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised charter.
